HN7000 Registration Procedure

Introduction:

These are the steps to be taken to register your HN7000. Print these directions but do not do the registration process until you have called 1-866-350-2492 and the transition to Hughes has been processed.

Procedure/Solution:

1. Browse to: http://www.systemcontrolcenter.com that will display the system control center of your modem.
   
   
2. Click on the "little man" icon that is outlined in red on the following screen.
   
   
   
   
3. Click on the "Installation" link from the menu on left side of the screen
   
   
   
   
4. Click on "Setup" under the "Installation" link.
   
   
   
   
5. Once the Broadband Satellite Setup windows pops up, click on the "Re-registration" link.
   
   
   
   
6. Click on the "Next" button to start the registration process.
   
   
   
   
7. The Satellite Connection establishes and the encryption keys download.
   
   
   
   
8. Click the "Next" button to continue.
   
   
   
   
9. If the popup message appears, click on "OK" to acknowledge it.
   
   
   
   
10. The Subscriber Agreement page will appear. Read the agreement (scroll to the bottom of the page) by clicking and dragging the scroll bar or using the bottom arrow scroll.
    
    
    
    
11. Click the "I Agree" button at the bottom of the Subscriber Agreement page.
    
    
    
    
12. The screen where you enter your NEW Hughes SAN and PIN will appear. Scroll down to where you see the Continue button
    
    
    
    
13. Enter your NEW Hughes SAN and PIN in the appropriate fields; Click on the "Continue" button when you are done.
    
    NOTE: The SAN and PIN in this screen are only Examples; You must enter your own SAN and PIN (that was provided to you by the Hughes Pre-Install Representative).
    
    
    
    
14. Verify your name is correct, click on the "Continue" button to proceed.
    
    
    
    
15. On the Registration screen, click "Continue". You can also Print this page if you chose to.
    
    
    
    
16. Wait for the configuration parameters to finish downloading.
    
    
    
    
17. Click on the "Restart" button to restart your HN7000.
    
    
    
    
18. Click on the "Close" button to close all the Registration windows.
    
    
    
    
19. Launch a browser and go to the System Control Center (www.systemcontrolcenter.com). Click on the "System Info" link and verify your SAN shows your new Hughes SAN.
    
    
    
    
20. Enter a web address in the Browsers Address field and verify you are able to browse.
