My HughesNet Account Management
Introduction:
This article details the functions available
through HughesNet to manage your accounts.

Change the HughesNet account password (DW40x0, DW600x, DW7x00, HN7x00S,HN9x00)
- Login to myHughesNet. Click
here.
- Click My Profile > Change Password.
- Enter your Old Password.
- Enter your New Password.
- Re-enter your New Password.
- Click Change Password.
- A confirmation message will be displayed.

Set the HughesNet account password hint (DW40x0, DW600x, DW7x00, HN7x00S,HN9x00)
- Login to myHughesNet. Click
here.
- Click My Profile > Set Password Hint.
- Select a Hint Question from the drop-down menu.
- Enter your Hint Answer.
- Click Submit.
- A confirmation message will be displayed.

Determine the number of e-mail accounts you have available
(HN9x00) - Login to myHughesNet. Click
here.
- Click E-mail Accounts > HughesNetSP > Manage E-mails.

e-mail accounts listed.

Create an e-mail account
(HN9x00)
- Login to myHughesNet. Click
here.
- Click E-mail Accounts > HughesNetSP > Manage E-mails.
- If you have available e-mail accounts, the following screen will
appear.
- Enter the E-mail ID. The E-mail ID plus @hughes.net
will be the e-mail address.
- Enter the Password.
- Re-enter the Password.
- Click Create E-mail Account.
- A confirmation message will be displayed and the new e-mail account will appear in the e-mail accounts list.
- If you do not have any e-mail accounts available, only the list of current
e-mail accounts will appear.

Delete an e-mail account (HN9x00)
- Login to myHughesNet. Click
here.
- Click E-mail Accounts > HughesNetSP > Manage E-mails.
- Locate the e-mail account.
- Click Delete.
- Click Confirm.
- A confirmation message will be displayed and the e-mail account will no
longer appear in the e-mail accounts list.

Perform a Speed Test
(HN9x00)
- Login to myHughesNet. Click
here.
- Click Site Care > HughesNetSP Remote > Speed Test.
- Click Launch Satellite Speed Test.
- Click Satellite Speed Test.
- Enter your Site ID.
Note: If you need assistance locating your Site ID click here.
- Click Submit.
- Verify your Site ID.
- Click That's my Site ID.

Note:
- The Satellite Speed Test requires Sun Java. To verify if Sun Java is installed on your PC, run the Sun Java Test.
After running the Sun Java Test, click Return to the Speed Test.
If Sun Java is not installed on your PC, click
here to download
the software from the website.

- Click Start.

- The next screen will display both the upload
and download test in progress.

- To re-run the speed test, click Restart Test.

- To view your speed test history, refresh the browser.

- Click Site Care > HughesNet Remote > Speed Test.
 - Click Launch Satellite Speed Test.
- Click Satellite Speed Test.
- Enter your Site ID.
Note: If you need assistance locating your Site ID click here.
- Click Submit.
- Verify your Site ID.
- Click That's my Site ID.

Note:
- The Satellite Speed Test requires Sun Java. To verify if Sun Java is installed on your PC, run the Sun Java Test.
After running the Sun Java Test, click Return to the Speed Test.

here to download
the software from the website.

- Click Start.

- The next screen will display both the upload

View Usage Info (HN9x00)
- Login to myHughesNet. Click
here.
- Click Site Care > HughesNetSP Remote > View Usage Info.
- The following screen will be displayed.
- Scroll down.
- Verify your Site ID.
- Select the time period for which you would like to view your usage history and click the associated radio button.
- Click Submit.
- Your usage history for the selected time period will be displayed.

- Click Help > Knowledge Base Support.
- The HughesNet Help Center main page will be displayed.
