Locate Your System Information

Introduction:

This article provide the steps necessary to obtain your system information from the System Control Center. This information is necessary for troubleshooting.

Procedure/Solution:

Important: The following steps must be performed from a computer connected to your HughesNet satellite modem. 

Locate your system information (HN9000)

1. Access the System Control Center, click here.
2. Click System Info.
   
3. The System Information page will be displayed. Scroll down the page to view additional information about your system.
   
4. Click Print this page to print a copy of your system information for your records.
   

Locate your site account number (SAN) (HN9000)

You can locate your Site Account Number (SAN) from either your monthly billing invoice or from the System Control Center. For additional information on accessing your monthly billing invoice, click here.

From your invoice

1. The SAN is located on your account Invoice and is the same as the Account Number.
   

From the System Control Center

1. Access the System Control Center, click here.
2. Click System Status.
3. The SAN is located in the Identification section with the label of ST Name.

Locate your site ID (HN9000)

1. Access the System Control Center, click here.
2. Click System Info.
   
3. Your Site ID will be displayed in the Identification section.
   

Locate your serial number (HN9000)

1. Access the System Control Center, click here.
2. Click System Info.
   
3. Locate the ESN in the Identification section.

Locate your HughesNet software version number (HN9000)

1. Access the System Control Center, click here.
2. Click System Info.
   
3. Locate the Operational Software Version in the Software section.

Locate your satellite parameters (HN9000)

1. Access the System Control Center, click here.
2. Click System Info.
   
3. Your Satellite Parameters will be displayed in the Satellite section.

Locate your system information (DW6000, DW7000, HN7000S)

1. Access the System Control Center, click here.
2. Click System Info.
   
3. The System Information page will be displayed.
   
4. Click Print this page to print a copy of your system information for your records.

You can locate your Site Account Number (SAN) from either your monthly billing invoice or from the System Control Center. For additional information on accessing your monthly billing invoice, click here.

1. The SAN is located on your account Invoice and is the same as the Account Number.

2. Click the System Info button
   
3. The SAN is located under the DWXXXX/HNXXXX Info section.

1. Access the System Control Center, click here.
2. Click System Info.
   
3. Your Satellite Parameters will be displayed in the Satellite section.

DW3000/DW4000 System Information

1. Click Start.
2. Click Programs.
3. Click HughesNet.
4. Click HughesNet Help.
5. Under Contents, click System information.
6. The Site ID and Serial Number are located under the section labeled General Information.  The satellite parameters are located under Satellite Information and Transponder Information.
